Rear Poly Carrier Shifter Bushing (E30, E28, E34)
REAR POLY CARRIER SHIFTER BUSHING (FOR: BMW E30, E28, AND E34) Many people replace the front bushings on the shifter carrier with a harder bushing such as delrin , however, the rear of the carrier is often neglected. Left to fit in the old rotting factory rubber leaving tons of shifter movement! Our rear Garagistic poly carrier bushings replace the original rubber bushing with a hard poly. Simply burn the old one out and press these ones in! (Note: Unlike the delrin versions which requires minor grinding to remove the "lips" of the shifter shaft off, this does not require any modifications). Fits inside 25111220556 If you are running rubber or poly transmission mounts, this is the correct rear shifter carrier bushing for you. If you are running delrin, you can run our delrin or this poly rear carrier bushing. The reason for this is because the the transmission and shifter cannot have diffrent allowable movements. This will cause linkages to brake, difficulty shifting and other issues.
