Emerald Bowie Snail

This Bowie Snail features a tumbled emerald in matrix for his shell, and has 4 rough emeralds in the "slime". He also has 4 gem quality green tourmaline crystals, and 5 small Herkimer diamonds around him and on his body. The snail was sculpted to imitate emerald matrix and I'm really happy with how it came out. I think this is my favorite Bowie Snail to date, but I'm biased because I love emerald! Silver accenting and bi-colored glass eyes pulls this snail together to create an excellent conversation piece for any shelf! This is one of the larger snails I have made, measuring 3.25"x2.25" at the base, and 2" tall! Bowie Snails came to be after my work room kitty and boss, Bowie, passed away unexpectedly. In an effort to get me back in my work room and to heal a little, I made myself a little snail friend. I loved making it, so when I was able to really get back to work I made more snails, and have dubbed them Bowie Snails in his memory. The paw print on the bottom of the snails were mad
