Cherry Laurel Shrub

The Cherry Laurel Hedge (Prunus Caroliniana) is an attractive dense pyramidal in shape broadleaf shrub/hedge or tree with glossy, medium-green foliage. Produces fragrant white flowers in early spring. Cherry laurels are evergreen and can be planted just about anywhere.  Uses: Hedge, shrubs, accent plant, privacy screen, responds to pruning very well.  Also known as: Carolina Cherry-laurel, Cherry-laurel, Laurel Cherry, Carolina Laurel Cherry Planting: Plant in full sun to partial shade, in well drained moist soil. Laurel is very adaptable and will thrive in sandy soils, clay soils, alkaline and acidic soils.
