1957 Rolex GMT 6542 Gilt Dial with original Bakelite bezel

Case & Bracelet Excellent case that has previously been polished. The blue and red "Pepsi" bakelite bezel insert is original to the watch and still glows when exposed to UV. The bezel shows some patina from age. The caseback is stamped: 6542 I. 56. Very Good U.S. Jubilee bracelet with 20 links and 50 end links. The bracelet has average stretch for its age. Dial Very good gilt chapter ring dial with some speckling patina present on the black surface of the dial. The lume plots have aged to a warm sandy hue and glow very lightly when exposed to UV. The hands have aged to a light sage hue and still glow brightly when exposed to UV. Accessories None The watch is running at COSC spec.
