If someone you know has a loved-one struggling with addiction, they are likely experiencing a range of emotions, from blaming themselves to grief to sadness, anger, frustration and helplessness.  Most of all, they may feel very alone. Reaching out with a card like this could make all the difference to let them know you are there for them.  Robyn Julia contributed the text and painted this card's beautiful and luminous artwork in gouache, in hopes of helping others who have friends or family members struggling with alcohol. Robyn Julia's story: As someone with a family member struggling with alcoholism, Robyn knows the feeling of wishing you could just "shake your loved one into health," while understanding that alcoholism is an illness beyond reason and understanding by those on the outside. Robyn wants friends and family members of those struggling with substance abuse to know that their feelings of hopelessness and guilt are normal and valid, and organizations like Al-Anon can help.
