Twist is an enlargement of a piece from the Rhythms of Geometry series of 2013, and a basic component of other, more complex shapes. It is formed by the repetition of a geometric solid I call Phi Penta Solid. This shape illustrates the Golden ratio. The four-sided planes of the solids have edges whose relationship to each other hold that ratio and the joining of five of these solids in sequential scale makes a simple spiral.
