Amalfi - Blue Marble/Artisan Paper/Padlock

The Amalfi Journal is extra packable for those wishing to travel light, and ideal for creative kiddos with smaller hands. Perfect in a small cross-body bag. ( I literally carry mine everywhere!)  This 2.5” x 4” journal contains 80 pages of the acid-free Artisan cotton  paper. It’s my most versatile, and is ideal for light watercolor, and for writing or sketching with any type of pen, pencil, or charcoal. (Note: this and the bamboo are the best papers for use with micro-tips or fountain pens.)   This book features a repurposed antique shutter hinge closure from the late 1800’s. It is attached with hand-hammered copper rivets. Securing the book is an antique padlock that comes with a beautiful working key. Though the padlock is functional, it is meant to be treated as decoration.
