LUCID DREAM

THE STORY Surely this must be a dream, I thought. But standing here, on the wonderfully rugged western edge of Washington’s San Juan Island, there was no threat of waking up, just an obligation to stay present in the face of all-encompassing PNW beauty. As the sun set over the iconic Lime Kiln Lighthouse, painting beautiful warm rays into the sky while the serene blues of dusk began to gather below, the world in front of me and that in my dreams blended beautifully for a few lucid moments of elation of the purest kind — moments which, thanks to the camera planted in front of me, I was able to turn into this everlasting, timeless piece of art made to take you straight to the edge of your dreams.
