Seascape Study I: Views at Punta Mita

This small seascape painting captures the glowing sunset sea and sky views from Punta Mita, MX. It's a little art vacation for the mind and spirit while we stay at home- reminding us of the beauty that still exists and is to come.  It is a 6x8 inch original gouache painting on Arches smooth cotton paper, with a small white margin.  Punta Mita is a magical seaside haven in Mexico with endless views of sea and sky. I always take a thousand photographs when I am there and those pictures inspired this small series of studies during the last few months when I was dreaming of a beach vacation.
