In 16th century Florence, the time and place that inspired this perfumed castile soap, rose was an essential component of fine perfumery. The fragrant oil of the rose was combined with the essences of other flowers, spices, and citruses - in particular, Italian lemon, which we have married harmoniously with rose absolute to create a bright, uplifting, and luxuriant fragrance fit for a queen.
