French Line: Three oversized (10.5" by 13.5") First Class menus from early July 1952. Included are luncheon on July 5, luncheon on July 6, and dinner on July 7. Among the choices for dinner are Terrine of Young Rabbit with Pistachio, Iced Cream Vichyssoise, Poached Turbot Gavanie, Stuffed Italian Squash a la Turque, Broiled Saddle of Lamb Watercress, Fancy Cakes a la Riche, and plenty of decent table wine.   It was on this crossing that the LIBERTE was passed by the new UNITED STATES on her way to win the Blue Riband during her maiden voyage.
