In this volume Warren complies all the special launch issues from the famed British publication, "The Shipbuilder".  Covering the years 1906 to 1914, forty ships are profiled, ranging from the EMPRESS OF IRELAND (summer 1906) to METAGAMA and MMISSANABIE (December 1914).   As the cover illustration shows, the OLYMPIC and TITANIC are included.  Other notable ships: LUSITANIA and MARUETANIA, EDINBURGH CASTLE, GEORGE WASHINGTON, AVON, VOLTURNO, FRANCE, ASCANIA, and even the White Star Line tender (and sole surviving vessel) NOMADIC.  There are numerous fold-outs with deck plans and cutaway, hundreds of interior photos, and many pages of period advertising.
