Course-Grit Blaumarke Whetstone (For All Scythes)

This is the coarsest scythe whetstone that we carry, officially rated as a 220-grit stone, it removes blade imperfections quite aggressively. We recommend it for: Initial sharpening of very dull blades (to be finished off with one or more finer stones such as our Fux or Styria stones)  Restoration of nicked or damaged blades Primary sharpening of heavier scythe blades such as our Nordic, Forestry, and Meadow & Light Brush type scythes 26-centimeters in length. Choose from the stone by itself, or with either the high-visibility shatter-resistant belt holder, or copper holder.
