Trichocereus pachanoi | San Pedro Cactus | Corky Grafting Stock Plants

These are some of our stock plants we used for harvesting grafting stock. San Pedro is such a great grafting stock! They are corky - cork is healthy tissue that fortifies the trunks of mature, older cacti. Some people think it's ugly. Anyone who knows me, knows those people get me a little wound up! I love corky cacti - it is a sign of maturity, strength, resilience and I think it's gorgeous. I would rather have a corky cactus than some pampered perfect little pet that croaks at the slightest environmental insult. OK, sorry for the rant.
