In the German region of Franken, Stefan Vetter makes truly singular white wines. His sylvaner is crisp and lithe - alcohol levels hover around 10% - with an electricity that makes them refreshing and easy to drink. Simultaneously, Vetter’s wines have this intensely concentrated minerality that brings to mind Keller, Dauvissat, or Cotat. From ungrafted, 90 year-old vines, 'Rosenrain' is Vetter’s rarest and most concentrated wine.
