MIDI Solutions Velocity Converter

The MIDI Solutions Velocity Converter applies selected velocity curves to incoming MIDI notes. Curves can be selected from 40 preset curves or a user defined curve. The 40 preset curves offer solutions for most velocity processing requirements, and the user curve makes the Velocity Converter even more versatile by allowing a curve to be created to an exact specification. The Velocity Converter can apply a separate curve to each MIDI channel, allowing the velocity response of a sending keyboard to be matched to individual sound modules that are set to receive on different MIDI channels. Another feature of the Velocity Converter is the option to assign velocities based on a selected incoming Control Change value. In this mode, the Velocity Converter stores the value of a selected Control Change message on a selected MIDI channel, and applies this value to all incoming velocities on that MIDI channel.
