Midi Solutions Velocity Converter
The MIDI Solutions Velocity Converter applies selected velocity curves to incoming MIDI notes. Curves can be selected from 40 preset curves or a user defined curve. Even though the 40 presets offer a wide range of curves that are enough to cover most needs, the user curve makes the Velocity Converter a completely versatile device by allowing one curve to be created to an exact specification. The Velocity Converter can apply a separate curve to each MIDI channel, allowing the velocity response of a sending keyboard to be matched to individual sound modules that are each set to receive on a different MIDI channel. Another feature of the Velocity Converter is the option to assign velocities based on a selected incoming Control Change value. In this mode, the Velocity Converter monitors the value of a selected Control Change message on a selected MIDI channel, and applies this value to all incoming velocities on that MIDI channel. It is also possible to add an offset to this value to k
