Viburnum x pragense (Prague Viburnum)

This versatile, fast growing, evergreen shrub grows 8-10’ and can hold its own in every season. Large flat cymes of fragrant, creamy white flowers, give way to berries that transition from red to shiny black in autumn. Attractive dark green, deeply veined leaves with a felted white underside create an eye-catching combination that lends its use a specimen plant. However, with its dense evergreen foliage one of the best uses for Viburnum x pragense in the landscape is as a flowering hedge or privacy screen.  Plant 8-10’ apart.
