This specimen is a beautiful example of crystal structure and fluorescence! This is a unique cluster of distinctive pale lavender purple fluorite cubes, on a matrix of limonite. The cluster is composed of layers of richly shaded minerals and matrix rock, with a raw and organic texture that is unshaped and unpolished. (There are a few broken terminations and raw areas, but in my opinion they do not lessen the beauty of the cluster as a whole.) The purple fluorite in this specimen also fluoresces brightly under UV—it is a pretty pink to light red shade of fluorescence that is a signature of Ojuela fluorite! This small specimen is a striking and unique display piece, and would offer a lot of beauty to any specimen collection.
