This small cluster of white to palest pink Calcite platelets has grown accented by two clear to palest green fluorite cubes, for a high contrast specimen. There are accents of metallic sulfide minerals, which may be pyrrhotite. Delicate layers of crystallization define the hexagonal calcite platelets, which displays lustrous faces—there is damage and the edges and plates are not perfect, but the overall effect is very pleasing. This small, lightly shaded cluster has a sweet personality, and also fluoresces under shortwave UV! Truly a wonderful crystal to display, admire, and work with energetically.
