Long considered one of the most puzzling times of the year in Hollywood, over the years during this final month of summer, we’ve been subjected to many would-be summer blockbusters, and also a lot of obvious bombs that studios slyly slide out to try to get their cash back on. But every so often, you get a film that emerges during August that’s a true triumph. Maybe it’s something that studios didn’t expect would be that awesome. But it really is.
