This is a solid sterling silver box bracelet that we rescued from a pile of scrap silver. It was dirty and broken (one end had the clasp broken off.) A very nice silversmith at the Yucaipa Valley Gem and Mineral Society (let's just call her Liz) offered to fix the clasp and she did a marvelous job. I did mention that this was dirty, well tarnished mostly, so I ran it through our pin polisher and did a little extra touch up polishing and now it is beautiful. This is a heavy bracelet at 58 grams, That is a lot of silver. It passes our silver tests (magnet and acid) and is marked "925".
