E0001 - Sterling Silver Rope Chain, Adjustable 1.4mm

The secret to this adjustable chain is the silicone-lined "smart" bead. It allows you to slide the bead along the chain to your desired loop size but the bead will stay snug on the chain to prevent it from moving all by its lonesome. You will be able to adjust this chain to a maximum of 22 inches. The minimum depends on your neck, duh. There is also a clasp attached to that bead so you can slide on your favorite pendant of the day.  Rope chain features twisted links that are each connected to two other links in a continuous row. Unless you have microscopic eyes, this may not be obvious. No worries, we took pictures with our microscopic camera. The twist causes the chain to create a spiraled effect similar to the woven fibers of a rope. It seems so tiny and fragile, so we hung a 7.3 gram pendant from it and it hung nicely (see photos). The rope is 1.4mm in diameter.
