E0078 - Sterling Silver Larimar Pendant 5.56g

Larimar is only found in the Dominican Republic and was created in the vent shaft of a volcano.  There is a limited supply and Larimar is becoming harder to source. Once the mine is depleted, this mineral will surely rise in value.  This freeform shaped Larimar stone has a beautiful dark blue color with an interesting light blue cross. This stone has a small ash inclusion on the far left side.  I had some trouble getting the photos to look right, but it turns out that a white background tricked my camera enough to get a good color match (at least on my monitor). The main photo on white printer paper (spared no expense) is the best representation of the Larimar.  We purchased several larimar pieces from a vender in a lot. This piece had scratches on the front of the stone which we were able to polish out. The pendant's bail is stamped 925 for Sterling Silver. Its not a very good stamp, but it's there. Just to be sure, we did acid test the bezel and it is sterling. Material: Sterling Si
