This shirt features the great Betty Reid Soskin and she is a reminder that it is never too late to dream a new dream! Betty made history as the oldest serving Park Ranger at a National Park when she decided to become a ranger at the age of 85. After serving on the planning board for the Rosie the Riveter National Park that would celebrate women’s contributions to the WW2 effort, Betty realized that the only way black women’s stories could be included in a park like this is if someone was there to tell them. Having worked in a segregated Union hall during World War II as a file clerk, Betty believed she was that one and at the age of 85 she became a park ranger sharing black history to visitors until her retirement at the age of 100. Betty's phenomenal spread quickly across the nation and opened door for her to  become Glamour's woman of the year and in 2015 she even introduced President Obama at the White House Tree Lighting Ceremony.
