  This product ships 3 to 5 business days after order is placed Growing up in Texas I was taught to Remember the Alamo. However, the same emphasis was never put on the day my ancestors found out they were free from hundreds of years of slavery. Inspired by my desire to share with the world our story of EMANCIPATION, the Remember the 19th tee is our latest addition to our Juneteenth Collection. It features Ashton Villa, the place where some historians believe General Gordon Granger read General Order #3 from the balcony which announced freedom for slave in 1865 (Other historians believe it was read at a place nearby but either way the building is historic to Juneteenth). The woman walking in front of the building represents HERSTORY. Since teh beginning of time black women have been the keeper of tradition and teh carriers of legacy.
