This 2004 first flight centennial commemorative coin is certified proof clad Half Dollar. The obverse of the coin presents a John Mercanti engraved Wright Brothers Monument atop its star-shaped base with "Liberty" above "In God We Trust" to the left and "Wright Monument" and "2003" below. The reverse of the coin presents a Donna Weaver design of the 1903 Wright Flyer on its first flight with Orville Wright flying and Wilbur Wright running along side with "United States of America" and "E Pluribus Unum" above and "Half Dollar" below. This coin also comes with a collectable box and a certificate of authenticity signed by Henrietta Holsman Fore, Director United States Mint.
