
Bailey's Triple Extract Cologne Bottles in Original Handpainted Celluloid Carrying Case
Dating anywhere from the late 1890s to very early 1900s, may I offer this rare gift set - 2 empty bottles of cologne (White Heliotrope & West end) by TS Bailey & Co, Boston, Mass nestled in their original carrying case of celluloid. With a lightly padded interior, the 2 bottles rest upon faded pale blue fabric (though you can see the blue where the bottles were settled. The holder has a handle wrapped in silk floss ending in 2 tassels; 2 sides of the celluloid are handpainted with pink roses and buds along with green leaves. The glass bottles have stoppers and the original labels are in excellent condition with no tears, stains, etc. One bottle is quite clear while the other has cologne residue on the inside. Stoppers come out of the bottles as they should. The holder measures 3-1/8" x 3-3/4" at the base. The handle gives the entire piece a height of 4-7/8". Each bottle is 1-1/8" square at the base; height is 3". In terms of scarcity, this is an outstanding find that would disp
