Two Wenndorfia plana

This is a rare find of two, Wenndorfia plana- from the Late Emsian- Lower Devonian of Morocco. The trilobites are interesting in that they does not have the distinctive three lobes. The larger fossil is partially curled, but if flattened measures 3.3 inches long, and 1.65 inches wide. The entire specimen, trilobites and matrix, measures 2.88 inches long, 2.77 inches wide and 2.65 inches high. The shell is fragile in all of these specimens and therefore, some cracking is inevitable. These are molts as the underlying body of the trilobites can be seen in places. The matrix has been repaired at the base of the big trilobite (I broke it!)
