Scabriscutellum hammadi

Scabriscutellum hammadi is a Middle Devonian trilobite from Morocco. This specimen has the typical smallish cephalon with protruding eyes, pleurons on the thorax that extend into spines and a ribbed, fan -like pygidium. The trilobite is 1.89 inches long and 1.34 inches wide. The matrix and trilobite measure 3.22 by 2.77 by 1.22 inches. The specimen has a repair running across the width of the pygidium and another on the tip of the left cheek.
