This Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of black cherry, black currant, and dark plum layered upon notes of toasted caramel. On the palate, this full-bodied silky wine has flavors of blackberries and Mission figs intermingled by notes of clove and well-integrated tannins. VINEYARD NOTES Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced proportionately from our Heide Ranch vineyard, where the average vine age is 18 years old. The Heide Ranch vineyard is home to clones 7 and 47, which are recognized as producing the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Located in the eastern part of the Napa Valley Appellation, the soils are balanced, well-drained clay and sand. This region produces exceptional ripe fruit, giving our Cabernet Sauvignon the bold and rich flavors that aficionados everywhere have grown to love.
