Vacheron Constantin Overseas ref.47040 de 2012

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas emerged from a collaboration between designers Dino Modolo and the famous Vincent Kaufmann in 1996. These two great design personalities gave life to the first Overseas. Years later, in 2004, the model saw its first update, with its bracelet including half of an optimized Maltese cross to improve comfort. Additionally, its integration into the case was improved and the crown guard disappeared. The case size grew substantially to 42mm and it incorporated the VC1126 movement, a Jaeger-LeCoultre 889 base which is a historical caliber, as it is the successor of the famous JLC 920 caliber used by Vacheron Constantin in the 222 model.
