The Icosahedron and Dodecahedron are 'duals', the 5 symmetry Platonic Solids. They nest within each other beautifully, each one extending its edges to create a stellated form the points of which form the other. We have 3 different color schemes of this form. The 5 symmetry gives this form multiple Golden Mean proportions. In fact every edge is a perfect Golden Mean proportion to another edge ! Whilst the 3/4/6 symmetry Platonics are fundamental to the structure and stability of matter and spacetime, the 5 symmetry solids are unstable and the key to the existence of life. The DNA is 5 symmetry. Interestingly, in 3 and 4 dimensions there are Icosahedran and dodecahedral forms, but in any higher dimension than 4 there are no Platonic 5 symmetry forms.
