Carved from mottled teal jade, the miniature offering vessel stands on four feet, a face carved into the front side with large bulging eyes and a long nose, spirals carved into either side, possibly to indicate ears, "v"-shaped folds carved into the backside, a shallow offering bowl at the top. Medium: Jade Dimensions: Height: 7/8 inch (2.3 cm) Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall Provenance: Private collection of Captain George Fowler, UK acquired in Peru in 1934, thereafter RD, Colorado private collection.
