Red Sensation Cordyline is a colorful broadleaf perennial often used as a house plant with long lace-shaped foliage that is deep red-burgundy with fine creamy yellow edging.  It rarely flowers indoors.  The best color occurs with bright indirect light and consistently moist well-drained peaty soils.  When planted in the ground in its hardy zones, it can gain a palm tree-like habit over time.  Syn. with Dracaena australis.
