Red Garden Phlox is a native dwarf perennial with a bushy habit and stiff stems covered with dark green lance-shaped foliage.  Large fragrant dark red flowers bloom from mid summer into fall.  Best flowering in full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soils.  Red is powdery mildew resistant.
