The journey of Komos XO begins with the selection of the finest agave, hand-harvested from both the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. This dual sourcing enhances the complexity of the blanco base, setting the foundation for the extraordinary character of the final product. The double pot-distillation process further refines the tequila, ensuring purity and clarity of flavor. Aging is where Komos XO truly distinguishes itself. The tequila is aged in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and French oak red and white wine barrels. The selection of the best barrels is crucial, with the youngest aging for a minimum of three years and the oldest up to 11 years. This multi-barrel aging process imparts a rich tapestry of flavors and aromas, adding depth and sophistication to the tequila. In a final, transformative step, the tequila is transferred to Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. These casks are chosen to enhance and complement the tequila's profile, adding layers of flavor and refine
