This is a Carte De Visite CDV albumen photo measuring 2.5x4 inches. Eugène Rouher (* 30 November 1814 in Riom ; † 3 February 1884 in Paris ) was a French statesman. From 1863 to 1869 he headed the French government as Minister of State for almost six years. He had a significant influence on Emperor Napoleon III , whose policies he mostly defended unreservedly. After the emperor's fall in 1870, he remained politically active and campaigned for the interests of Napoleon III's son, Napoléon Eugène Louis Bonaparte .
