This course will be an overview of the different types of engineering disciplines blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. It will cover an introduction to engineering practices and how engineering impacts the world today. This course will dive into chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Within these engineering disciplines your student will see the specialities and what the focus is within each engineering field each week. By the end of the course, students will not only have a clearer understanding of the various engineering disciplines but also be equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions about pursuing engineering as a career. This is an 18-week course is part of our "On-Your-Own" series, so students can learn at their pace without set class times.
