Classical Oboe by Cahusac Circa 1760 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a terrific oboe by Cahusac from circa 1760. A rare instrument by an important maker for this period. Oboe is in overall good condition with no apparent cracks to the wood; however, the bell ring does show some cracks. Instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.
