Milhouse Classical Oboe Circa 1760 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a wonderful Milhouse oboe, circa 1760.  A great oboe for historical performance of Mozart and other classical music. Body is in excellent condition with a minor crack in the upper joint that should be fairly easy to repair. Will need pad work to be playable at a high level. Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.  As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
