Elena Fucci is a name that is synonymous with winemaking in Basilicata and today, Elena, along with her eponymous winery, is one of the greatest ambassadors of this region. On six hectares of her family’s land, Elena produces wines exclusively within the appellation of Aglianico del Vulture that sits at the foot of the extinct volcano, Mount Vulture. She grows only Aglianico, which is sometimes called "The Barolo of the South” and along with Sangiovese and Nebbiolos.
