Lacebark Elm Block CE-36 2.8" x 2.8" x 10.5" 2.7 lbs. This is an attractive end-grain block of Lacebark Elm. The color is an overall golden brown with a hint of rose. There is a subtle gradation of color saturation from heartwood to sapwood. This block was cut from the outer portion of the log, well away from the pith. There is a sliver of bark along the back face; see photo 3. I see no cracks or other flaws.
