Lacebark Elm Block CE150 1.25" x 1.25" x 7.2" 0.4 lbs. This is a highly figured end-grain block of Lacebark Elm. It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, with color of light reddish-brown with a few darker streaks. The grain on this piece is swirling and complex. It's been air-dried to a moisture content of 10-12%. There are a couple of minor cracks shown in the close-up photos that you may want to fill with CA glue prior to turning.
