The Yankee Stadium is home to the professional baseball team, the New York Yankees. The stadium is based in the Bronx, New York, and has a seating capacity of over 50,000. It hosts Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, as well as college football, hockey, and other entertainment events. The Yankee Stadium officially opened in April 2009 and hosted its first match of the regular season between the Yankees and the Cleveland Indians.
