Country: Italy Region: Campania Type: White Wine Grape: Greco/Fiano/Coda di Volpe/Moscato Organic farming. Drawn from old vines planted to sandy and clay limestone soils, Greco is the dominant grape here with equal parts Fiano and Coda di Volpe and a dash of Moscato. Named affectionately after his mother, this bianco is a tribute wine, one that Luigi makes only when he is so moved.  Aromas of pineapple and mango, along with citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, and a floral hint of jasmine. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich with balanced acidity. Tropical and citrus flavors, with additional notes of honey, almond, and minerality, which come from the volcanic soil of the vineyards. This is a complex and layered white wine that showcases the unique terroir and grape varieties of Campania.
