KID + GROWN UP Intro to Block Printing

  Would you love to create your own custom textiles with your pint-sized person age 8+? Join us for a hands-on Block Printing on a tote bag class, where you'll learn the art of carving and printing your own unique designs onto a tote bag! One spot is for a grown up + child - so add 1 spot to the cart when you register.  Just tick the box that you are 18 when you register.  In this workshop, you'll: - Sketch and transfer your design onto a block- Carve your block with guided instruction- Print your design onto fabric using textile inks We’ll provide tea towels for you to print on, plus all the tools and materials needed—including carving blocks, ink, and rollers (shared among the class). You’ll have your own block or two to carve, but if you’d like to bring your own block printing kit, you’re welcome to!
