Chestnut, pear, and walnut support spindle, with pear bowl set

Weighing in at 19 grams, this is a moderately lightweight spindle. The rounded pear whorl is beautifully warm, with a contrasting walnut tip. It has a chestnut shaft that gives a nice neutral brown contrast.  The highly tapered medium length shaft gives a small flicking surface for more rotational speed. We've paired this with a coordinating pear bowl.  In a test spin, we found that this spindle has a good combination of speed and power, which makes it super versatile.  Kravelli spindles are handmade for us in the country of Georgia and they are one of a kind.
