Chinese Metal Pot Hook with Openwork 19th Century

An ornamental hook that was used in China for hanging pots. It is well cast and has a nice dark patina from age and use. The hook is from cast iron and the pierced joined top is bronze. The top has elaborate scrolling around a central design of double cash symbols. There is a triangular metal eye to hang the hook by. MEASUREMENTS 9 3/8” (23.7 cm) tall x 5” (12.7 cm) wide. Weighs 2.5 oz (70 g) CONDITION There are no breaks, cracks, or losses. It has a nice dark aged color to the metal. A hook that still can be used. It would look great with a hanging plant.
