Region of Origin: China Color: Brown Age: 1850-1899 Primary Material: Bronze Original/Reproduction: Antique Original An iron hook with a pierced florid bronze top with double shou symbols that are said to bring good luck. The hook was used to suspend pots while cooking over a hot fire. It’s a nice antique hook that can be used today for plants or in the kitchen (or plants in the kitchen!)    MEASUREMENTS   9 5/8” (24.4 cm) long x 5” (12.7 cm) wide. Weighs 2.2 oz (60 g)   CONDITION   There are no breaks, cracks or dents. There is some rust on the iron hook. Much of the bronze top is coated with smoke residue, with the underlying bronze visible in places.
